OBJECTIVES:
• Better understand the ARRA-HITECH Act and its impact on South Dakota at the state, community, organization and provider level.
• Gain the perspectives of South Dakota e-health leaders about a statewide vision for e-health and hear updates by the SD eHealth Collaborative .
• Gain momentum toward statewide adoption, utilization and exchange of electronic health information through a shared vision.
• Provide examples of improvements in quality, safety, convenience, and care coordination that result from Health IT and HIE.
INTENDED AUDIENCE
